Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Dehradun Arrival

Welcome to the city of Dehradun! Once you reach the city, our representative will greet you at the airport/railway station. From there, you’ll be taken to your hotel. As a preparatory step, our team will conduct tour briefing for passengers and provide free duffel bags to carry up in the helicopter. The maximum a duffel bag can weigh is 2 kg, so pack only essentials.

Day 2 Kedarnath Visit

After your breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be escorted to the helipad to fly to Kedarnath. After your arrival in Kedarnath, you’ll meet our ground personnel, who then will help you reach the holy temple. The helipad is quite close to the shrine (500 metres) and is at walking distance of 10-15 minutes.

To save you time, we offer VIP Darshan slips which helps you avoid queues and go straight for darshan. We suggest completing Darshan and Poojan within 1.5 hours and return to the helipad as soon as possible because the weather condition at Kedarnath is quite unpredictable. Bad weather can delay return flights and cause accommodation problems.

After Darshan, you’ll be flown back to Sersi/Phata helipad. There, you can enjoy lunch and an overnight stay will be arranged at Phata or Guptkashi.

Day 3 Badrinath Visit

Enjoy a hearty meal in the morning. Then, you’ll be escorted to the helipad for a flight to Badrinath. After arrival on the Badrinath helipad, you’ll be checked into a hotel.

After lunch, a trip to Mana village will be arranged. This is the final border between India and China. Next up is darshan and enjoying evening Aarti at Badrinath temple.

After that, relish your dinner and overnight stay there.

Day 4 Return to Dehradun

After breakfast, bid goodbye to the Badri Narayan temple as you’ll be now flown back to Dehradun. We hope you made some pleasant spiritual memories on your trip here on Do Dham Yatra by helicopter!

Upon your arrival in Dehradun, you’ll be escorted to airport/railway station. From here on, you can continue your further journey on your own.

The best period to visit there is from May to June when weather is pleasant and is ideal for travel. Another decent period is the post-monsoon season – September and October when the skies are clear. It’s highly recommended to avoid monsoon season (July–August) as chances of landslides are high due to heavy rainfall.

The temperatures are quite low in both Badrinath (10–18°C) and Kedarnath (5–15°C), therefore, it is advised to pack warm clothes like sweater and heavy jacket. Also, carry rain gear as it can rain anytime there. Comfortable walking shoes are a must.

Badrinath offers guesthouses, hotels, and Dharamshalas for a variety of budgets. Kedarnath, on the other hand, provides basic lodgings like tents and Dharamshalas, near the temple itself.

Vegetarian options are widely available at Dhabas and local eateries. Alcohol and non-vegetarian are prohibited.

You can perform the following at the temples:

  • Badrinath: Darshan ceremonies, Pind Daan, and special pujas
  • Kedarnath: Rudrabhishek and other Shiva-related rituals
