Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu, Nepal. Move to the hotel in Kathmandu to freshen up and rest a little bit. By afternoon or evening head on to the holy Darshan at the Pashupatinath Temple. Night stay and dinner at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu - Nepalgunj

Post breakfast, check out of the hotel in Kathmandu and head to the airport. Board the flight to Nepalgunj. Arrive at Nepalgunj and check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. The rest of the day will be free for you to spend as per your wish.
Day 3 Nepalgunj - Simikot - Hilsa - Taklakot

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Nepalgunj and head to Simikot. After reaching Simikot and relaxing for a couple of hours, fly to the next destination of Hilsa in a helicopter. After arriving at Hilsa, drive to Taklakot via the purang border. This road trip to Taklakot may take some time since there are 3 different checkpoints and each checkpoint takes around 1 hourto cover. On reaching Taklakot, check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Acclimatisation day at Taklakot

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra takes place at an incredibly high elevation. It is important to acclimatise first before moving higher up in elevation. Acclimatisation helps the pilgrims with properly getting used to the high altitude conditions and avoid the onset of high altitude mountain sickness. This day will be reserved for this purpose.
Day 5 Taklakot - Mansarovar Lake

After breakfast and checking out of the hotel in Taklakot, a drive to Mansarovar Lake will take place. This road journey will be 95 km overall. After covering a distance of 70 km you will reach Rakshastal. Further 25 km ahead Mansarovar Lake will be reached. At the lake of Mansarovar pilgrims will take a holy dip in the lake accompanied with the performance of some puja rituals. After the Mansarovar Lake check in to the hotel for dinner accompanied with an overnight stay.
Day 6 1st day of Parikrama

The first day of Parikrama around the holy Kailash Parvat will take place early morning after breakfast. The journey will start off with a drive to Darchen (35 km) followed by Yam Dwar (8 km). This is the starting point of Kora from where the pilgrims will cover a trek of 14 km in order to reach Dirapuk. Dirapuk is the start off point for the north face of Kailash Parvat. Here the pilgrims will do a Charan Sparsh of the mountain. Lunch will be provided on the way to the Parikrama. After lunch, head back to hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Dirapuk.
Day 7 2nd day of Parikrama

After breakfast the 2nd day for Parikrama will commence. This trekking journey from Dirapuk to Dolma la will begin early in the morning. Although the first couple of kms is moderate level, the remaining 3 km of the route is extremely challenging. On returning back from dolma la, visit Gauri Kund. After further walking for 2 to 3 hours reach Phedi. Here you can rest for a while before heading to the next destination of Zuthulphuk for rest, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8 3rd day of Parikrama

Post breakfast in the morning a short and easy trek will take place. Head to the private bus or coach waiting at the end of the trekking journey. This bus will take you to Darchen. From Darchen the way back to Hilsa will take place. The return to Hilsa will be dependent on the remaining time. From hilsa, get a helicopter ride back to Simikot. The check in to the hotel at Simikot will be followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 9 Simikot - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu - Lucknow

Check out of the hotel after breakfast in the morning. Helicopter ride from Simikot to Nepalgunj followed by a further helicopter ride to Kathmandu. Finally from Kathmandu head back to Lucknow. On reaching Lucknow, check in to the hotel will be followed by a dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10 Departure Day

After checking out of the hotel in Lucknow, head on to the point of departure to go back. You will also be provided with a certificate for the completion of your journey to Kailash Mansarovar Parvat.
