Do Dham (Gangotri, Yamunotri)

Gangotri: Gangotri Dham marks the origin point of the holy River Ganga. It is situated in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. It is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India also considered to be a part of the Chhota Char Dham yatra. Gangotri’s main attraction is the Gangotri Temple built in honor of Ma Ganga. For six months the temple remains open from May to November. Ma Ganga’s idol is shifted on Akshaya Tritiya from Mukhba (Mukhimath) to the Gangotri Temple.

Yamunotri: Yamunotri is known to be the origin point of River Yamuna. It is located in Uttarakhand and is one of the most sacred destinations in India. It is also considered to be a part of the famous Chhota Char Dham yatra. For 6 months each year, Yamunotri temple remains open. On Akshaya Tritiya, Ma Yamuna’s idol is shifted from Khushimath to the Yamunotri Temple.

Guidelines For Passengers:

  • Passengers should not carry suitcases as it would be difficult to accommodate them in the helicopter.
  • Since the Do Dham sites are situated at high altitudes you should acclimatize yourself before undertaking this yatra.
  • As a precaution carry a small oxygen bottle during the Do Dham Yatra. You can get it at all medical shops.
  • Carry enough woolen clothing as the temperature during the night becomes freezing cold.
  • You should be mentally and physically fit before undertaking the yatra.
  • Each passenger can carry only 3 kg of luggage as there is limited space in the helicopter.

Terms and Conditions

  • Children above 2 years of age will have to pay for a full ticket.
  • The total weight of the passenger must not exceed 450:6 PAX/400:5 PAX Beyond the specified weight limit it won’t be possible for the flight to take off and your aerial trip will be canceled (it is important to provide your exact weight and right to avoid such situation).
  • If we’re unable to complete the journey within the stipulated time and passengers are unable to visit the Dhams due to technical reasons or bad weather conditions then the company will try its best to make arrangements to visit all the sites within the stipulated time. In adverse cases, if this is not possible then the company will be liable to a refund of unutilized sector/s.
  • If due to reasons beyond human control such as flood, riots, bad weather conditions, political unrest, bands, or other man-made or natural calamities, the program will have to be extended or changed the passengers will have to bear the additional expenditure.
  • Booking will be rescheduled to the next date only if you make a payment of 10% of the cost and subject to availability. This will be permissible only if you apply 7 days before the journey date. If you request rescheduling with less than 7 days to the trip then we will cancel the booking and you will have to make a fresh booking subject to availability.
  • The Company holds the right to reschedule, cancel, or delay the continuance or commencement of the flight without giving any reason. The Company can refuse to carry any person who is unfit for travel.

  • Any special puja charges.
  • Any increase in Royalty charges, Taxes, or Fuel Prices leading to an increase in cost on Land Arrangements and Surface Transportation, which might come into effect before departure.
  • Expenses of personal nature like telephones, table drinks, tipping, laundry, medical evacuation, or room service due to ill health.
  • Any delay or claim charges due to weather or operational changes etc.
